Baroque interior of a Latin cross (m.72x54), three naves with ambulatory and crypt cupola (high ml.slm 72), six chapels with cupolas, an oratorio (with a 'Deposition' Tommaso Della Porta). The Basilica houses the precious relic of the Heart of St. Charles Borromeo, donated by Cardinal Federico Borromeo in 1614. |
Holy time of harvest
The Basilica is open daily from 7:00 to 19:00. Mass schedule: Weekdays: 7.30-12.00-18.30, Holidays: 8.00-9.30-11.00-12.00-18.30. During the celebration of the Holy Mass is not possible to visit the church. Schedules are subject to change. We suggest you check by contacting the church.
