Today this is the national chapel of the Norwegians. The altarpiece, portraying the holy King of Norway, was given by Pope Leo XIII. On the left side of the Chapel is the painting, "The Adoration in the Garden" by the Venetian painter Pasquale de Rossi (2nd half of the 17th century). Formerly this canvas occupied the place over the altar. On the right is the beautiful painting, "The Holy Family with St.Anna and St. John the Baptist", executed by Christopher Roncalli known as "The Pomarancio".
The vault of the Chapel was decorated by Luigi Garzi and represents "Faith".
