All are frescoes except that of Garzi - “The Glory of the Angels” – which seems to be an oil painting on stone, and faces the others since it was intended to be seen from the Tribune through the arch. |

The closure of the arch is concealed by the great banner of the Archconfraternity – the work of the Marattesca school – representig "St. Charles in adoration before the Virgin and Child". Beneath the banner is the Oratory which enshrines the Heart of Saint Charles. |

Holy time of harvest
The Basilica is open daily from 7:00 to 19:00. Mass schedule: Weekdays: 7.30-12.00-18.30, Holidays: 8.00-9.30-11.00-12.00-18.30. During the celebration of the Holy Mass is not possible to visit the church. Schedules are subject to change. We suggest you check by contacting the church.
